MANSFIELD CITY SCHOOLS

DISTRICT GOALS

Goal 1:  Leadership- By 2012, 100% of grade levels, buildings and district level, will implement Professional Learning Communities (PLC's). 

Goal 2:  Reading- By 2012, all students in grades PreK-12 will increase reading proficiency scores by 12% each year as measured by the OAA and local assessments, and 5% each year as measured by the OGT to reach 100% proficiency.
 

Goal 3:  Mathematics- By 2012, students' academic performance in mathematics will increase by 10% in grade 3; 20% in grades 4, 5, 7 and 8; 15% for grade 6 and 5% for grade 10 as measured by the OAA/OGT and local assessments.

 
Goal 4:  Climate- By 2012, the Mansfield City Schools will decrease student disciplinary occurrences by 30%.
