Board of education will elect 2019 officers on Tuesday

      The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education will elect a president and vice president during its 2019 organizational meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15. The board’s regular monthly meeting will follow immediately.

      In addition to election of officers, the organizational meeting will include a resolution to have one regularly scheduled meeting at 5:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. Routine actions will include approval of standing authorizations for the year and board member committee assignments.

      The regular meeting will include action on the treasurer’s monthly reports and the superintendent’s recommended contracts. Brenda White, a paraprofessional at Sherman Elementary School, will be recognized as the district’s Every Student, Every Day champion for January.

      Board meetings are held at the Raemelton administration building, 856 W. Cook Road.
