Contracts
for the purchase and installation of 65 security cameras at Malabar
Intermediate School will be on the agenda when the Mansfield City Schools Board
of Education meets at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11. The project
includes the purchase of equipment totaling $25,782 and a separate $16,500
contract with Crider Solutions, Inc. of Mansfield for installation of the
cameras.
The board
also will consider an increase in the daily pay rate for substitute teachers from
$90 to $140.
Lauren
Moran, food service manager, will update the board about student participation
in the free lunch program that began in August. Mansfield City Schools is able
to offer free lunches through the state’s Community Eligibility Program for
high-poverty districts.
