Need a Senior High or Malabar yearbook?

Nick Boller looks through one of the stored yearbooks that range from 1907 through 2014.

Nick Boller is awash in old yearbooks – 1,193 to be exact – from Mansfield Senior High School and Malabar High School.

Boller, the yearbook adviser at Senior High, is having what he calls “a flash fire sale” to get rid of as many of the unsold yearbooks as possible.

“We need the space. The yearbook staff will be starting to work on the 2015-2016 Manhigan soon,” he said. “And the money we make from sales will help with expenses, including the repair of a couple of cameras.”

Boller has 1,049 Senior High yearbooks. There is an least one copy from 91 of the years since 1907. There are five copies from 1907, one each from 1908 and 1909. Some years have 10 or more, the highest being 119 from 2008 and 118 from 2009.

There are 144 copies of the Malabar Talon representing all but four years from 1964 through 1989. There are five or fewer copies through 1981. The highest surviving numbers are 29 from 1988 and 33 from 1989.

Some yearbooks between 1971 and 2010 are on sale for $20. All others between those dates have been discounted to $40. Manhigans from 2011, 2012 and 2013 are $50, while the 2014 version is $55.

A complete listing of available yearbooks and pricing can be found online at Manhigan.com. Yearbooks can be mailed within the contintental United States for an additional $6.
