Chioke Bradley II will always be a Mansfield Senior High Tyger, but next fall he also will be a University of Findlay Oiler.
Bradley – 6’3”, 217 pounds -- signed a letter of intent to play football at Findlay during a brief ceremony Wednesday morning at Senior High.
Findlay, an NCAA Div. II school, competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Oilers, who finished with a 6-5 record in 2015, will open the 2016 football season Sept. 3 at home against Saginaw Valley State.
Bradley, the son of Senior High varsity football coach Chioke Bradley, helped the Tygers earn an 8-2 overall record in 2015, a share of the Ohio Cardinal Conference title and a playoff berth. He was named to the OCC second team as a tight end and linebacker.
Bradley is a two-time varsity letter winner in both football and basketball. He will study computer science at Findlay.
