Orientation for incoming fourth-graders will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Malabar Intermediate School.
Students and their families will have an opportunity to meet staff, tour the building and visit their fourth-grade classrooms. The program also will include a walk on the outdoor trail and fun activities in the gym led by the YMCA staff. Food will be served in the cafeteria.
Principal Andrea Moyer. Assistant Principal Tom Hager and other staff members will discuss Malabar’s priorities: safety, academics and respect.
Malabar’s open house for grades four, five and six will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18.
