Book fair highlights final days of Spanish Immersion's school year

Bounce houses were a popular attraction at Spanish Immersion’s recent Spanish Heritage Night. The evening also featured Spanish and Latin-American foods.

   A book fair, morning pastries and a movie night are on the agenda as the Spanish Immersion School prepares to close out the school year.

   The Scholastic Book Fair, featuring a buy one-get one free offer, will be held Thursday and Friday this week.

   Pastries for Parents is scheduled from 8:30 to 9 a.m. on Monday, for kindergarten, first and second grades and 8:30 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday for grades three through six.

   “Hidden Figures” will be the film for Family Movie Night, 6 to 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday in the gym. Attendees are urged to bring their own food and drinks.

   Students’ last day will be Friday, May 26.
