Mansfield Senior High School is sponsoring a coat drive for children in need in the Mansfield City Schools district.
The drive is being conducted jointly by the Senior High Black Culture Club, Bridges Mentoring Group and the Mansfield Correctional NAACP Chapter.
Families who have qualified for free school lunches must complete the online form accessible below to be eligible to receive a coat. All applications must be received by Dec. 8. Depending on the amount of requests, a lottery may be necessary to determine which students receive coats.
Coats will be distributed to each child’s school on Dec. 18. Donations to the coat fund may be made in care of the Mansfield Black Culture Club.
