English Language Arts/ Social Studies- Mrs. Lehman

Mrs. Lehman here! Hi! I have been teaching in the Mansfield City Schools for 24 + years. I have taught at Woodland, Hedges and now Malabar, my home away from home. I graduated from Ashland University with my bachelors degree and Marygrove with my masters degree.

I have two grown children. Mike is currently working at a bank and living in Avon Lake and Samantha is a Special Education teacher in Toledo. My husband is a retired teacher from the Mansfield City Schools. We have two dogs and in our free time we love to go camping and play darts in a few different leagues throughout Mansfield.

Math/ Science Teacher- Mrs. Stockwell

 Hi, my name is Mrs.Stockwell and I teach 4th grade Math and Science here at Malabar.  Teaching is a second career for me. I have a Business degree from West Virginia University and worked in retail management for a number of years.  As a young widowed mother of two, I attended the Ohio State University and earned a Master’s Degree in Education. This is my 26th year of teaching in the Mansfield City Schools.  I have been a reading teacher, a literacy coach and a classroom teacher at various levels in many different buildings. I love being a part of the Malabar family.

Intervention Specialist- Mrs. Allenbaugh

I am Melinda Allenbaugh and I am an Intervention Specialist at Malabar in 4th grade. I attended The Ohio State University and got my undergraduate degree in Communications. I was a Special Education tutor in Mansfield City Schools for 13 years. Then I decided to go back to school and get my teaching degree in Special Education four years ago. I have two grown boys, who both attended and graduated from Mansfield City Schools. I am a proud graduate of Mansfield City Schools also and so are both of my parents. We love this school system!! I have been at Malabar for the last 10 years and I love it here! We are a family and we take care of each other and our students.

I have the coolest dog named Hunter and the most wonderful granddaughter. Both bring me such happiness. I love to kayak, bike ride, garden, hike and travel. I recently got married last summer to my best friend. I love my job and enjoy everyone I work with!
