The philosophy of the Local Professional Development Committee is to support the professional development of the certificated/licensed employees of the Mansfield City Schools system. Under the guidelines of Senate Bill 230, the LPDC will enhance the quality of instruction through individual professional development planning.
Purpose
The purpose of the Local Professional Development Committeeis to oversee and review course work and other professional development activities for certificate and license renewal. Such activities shall evidence the following: improvement of student learning, or progress toward individual professional growth, and alignment with the building and/or District improvement plans.
