Hello, Malabar Tygers!! My name is Vicki Berger, and I am a Special Education Paraprofessional.  I have been with Mansfield City Schools for 10 years.  I also worked as a para in pre-school for 8 years.  I have 2 adult child, Joe and Mitch.  I also have a spunky grandson, Joey, he is always on the move.  I have always worked with children, I coached soccer, K-5th grade.  I taught Sunday school, too.  I love my students.  Malabar is my family and the staff is awesome.  I enjoy art, gardening and being with my family!!  


Mrs. Borland

My name is Susan Borland, and I am a Special Education Paraprofessional.  I have been with Mansfield City Schools for ten years, eight of those at Malabar.  I moved to Mansfield in 1990 from Amarillo, Texas, after graduating from Borger High School.  I have two children: Vicky, who is a biochemist, and Chris, who is earning his degree in mechanical engineering.  I enjoy attending art classes at the Mansfield Art Center, gardening, and traveling with family.

Although I have a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, my love is working with children.  I have more than 20 years of experience in education, teaching students of all ages and abilities.  I love the students at Malabar and think the staff is incredible!  GO TYGERS!

Hi! My name is Cayci Elswick I am 25 years old and was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio. I am a proud 2013 Mansfield senior high graduate. I attended North Central State College. I am a mother to a 5 year old boy named Jaxin. My favorite thing to do in my free time is jiu jitsu with my son at Chitwood's team gym in Lexington. I love working with my kids. I am very proud to be part of this team.

My name is Malinda Redolf and I am a Special Education Paraprofessional at Malabar. I have been with Mansfield City Schools since 2017 working mostly at Woodland Elementary and Malabar. I have an Associates Degree in Accounting from Muskingum Area Technical College (MATC) now Zane State.

Born and raised in Zanesville, OH. I moved to Mansfield in 2003 when I met my husband. I am the proud mother of one son, a step daughter and one grandchild. Volunteering in my son’s preschool/elementary classes is what led me to my teaching path today. In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking and spending time with family.

My name is Shelly Tipul, I have been a special ed paraprofessional for 12 years. I grew up in the Mansfield area and went to Mansfield City Cchools and graduated a Tyger in 1981. I have a family of 5 and have been married for 33 years with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I enjoy spending my free time with my grandchildren as they are very active and fun. 

I really enjoy my job and mostly because I love working with the kids. I also really like the atmosphere at Malabar School and working with the great staff. 

I’m a huge Cleveland Browns fan. GO BROWNS! And GO TYGERS!

Paraprofessional- Ms. Wolcott
I’m April Wolcott, a Special Education Paraprofessional at Malabar. 

This is my first year at Malabar but was a Paraprofessional with Mansfield City schools in the 1990’s.


I attended Prospect Elementary 1975 to 1981 and have many great memories being a cheerleader there as a Prospect Bengal.  I graduated from Mansfield Christian in 1988.  I coached high school cheer for 12 years at 2 other school districts.


I have a 25 year old son, Quinton Wade, who lives in Boulder, Colorado.   I’m a homebody so in my free time I enjoy photography and spending time with family and friends and making people laugh!


I enjoy 80’s music, tacos, Mountain Dew, and peanut M&M’s.


I’m thankful that I have a great staff to work with at Malabar!
