| 5th and 6th Grade Band Teacher- Mr. Bradley My name is Mr. Charles Bradley, and I serve as the band director for Malabar IS, and serve as the assistant band director for the Mansfield Middle & Mansfield Senior High Bands. I was born and raised in Marietta, OH (it was the First Settlement in the Northwest Territory, 1788). I moved to Mansfield to begin teaching band in the Mansfield City Schools in 1990, and I’ve completed my 30th year as a band instructor! I earned my Bachelor of Music Education degree from Ohio University in 1990, and I earned a Master of Education degree from Ashland University in 1999. In addition to teaching, I also play trombone in a variety of music ensembles in the Northeastern Ohio area, including the Ashland Symphony Orchestra, the Suburban Brass Quintet, the AFM Local 159 Concert & Jazz Bands...as well as play trombone in numerous churches and pit orchestras in the area. My music tastes are very eclectic; I enjoy classic rock, jazz, classical, and classic Motown/Soul. GO TYGERS!

| Orchestra Teacher- Mrs. Brown I am the orchestra director at Malabar and the assistant orchestra director for the Mansfield Middle and Mansfield Senior High Orchestras. I graduated from Lexington High School in 1997. After graduating I went to Miami University earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Music in 2001 and went to Kent State University earning my Master’s Degree in Music in 2003. I started playing the cello in 4th grade at the age of 10. I play cello for Mansfield Symphony Orchestra and the Ashland Symphony Orchestra. I have a studio of 25 private cello students and I also teach at Ashland University as an Adjunct Professor. I have been married for 14 years and have 3 children and they keep me busy with their activities. I love teaching, gardening, biking, skiing, swimming and anything and everything that involves being outside!!! My passion is teaching and I love all of my students and enjoy watching them grow and develop in their musical abilities.

| Adaptive Physical Education Teacher- Mrs. Mack I’m Joan Mack, I have taught in Mansfield City Schools for 12 years. I have been in almost all the buildings, but call Malabar home. I love teaching in the district. I love the students and enjoy coming to work every day. I received my education at the University of Akron. I have a bachelor degree in both Physical Education K-12 and Adapted PE K-12, I have a master degree as an K-12 Intervention Specialist. My family consists of a husband, 2 daughters, one works at the Cleveland Clinic as a nurse, has our only grandchild and the other works on a Belgian Draft Horse farm. We also have 3 four legged “children” (2 are Boston Terriers and 1 is a Frenchton-part French bulldog and Boston terrier.) I grew up and still live almost an hour away. We live on a farm where we raise and show Belgian Draft Horses in our spare time.
