Alisha Franklin reigns as Mansfield Senior High homecoming queen

      Senior Alisha Franklin was crowned Mansfield Senior High School’s 2019 homecoming queen Friday afternoon during an assembly in Pete Henry Gym.

      Miss Franklin will reign over the Tygers’ homecoming game against Ashland at 7 p.m. at Arlin Field.

      Aiden Crider was named homecoming king.

      Selection of the queen and king, as well as the entire court and escorts, was by votes of the student body.

      Miss Franklin was escorted by Cameron Taylor.

      Senior members of the queen’s court are:

      -- Madelyn Wade, escorted by Aurel Toska

      -- Ka’mari Johnson, escorted by Aiden Crider

      -- Clover France, escorted by Ben Miller

      -- Destiny Rutter, escorted by Davin Brown

Attendants in the queen’s court are:

      -- Juniors: Am’Marie Taylor, escorted by Noah Anderson

      -- Sophomores: Za’Niayh Cline, escorted by William Pounds

      -- Freshmen: Ma’Kyah Latimore, escorted by Ke’ontez Bradley

      The afternoon program included the introduction of the Tyger varsity football team and coaches.
