Congratulations to Hadley Hoovler on being accepted into Ohio State University’s Stone Lab Summer Research Program. As a part of this summer’s program Hadley will be participating in a college level research class: Introduction to Biological Studies: Aquatic Biology. 

This honor becomes even more notable, as Hadley has been admitted into a program reserved for students in 10th grade or higher, being admitted as a freshman is truly outstanding!!

On top of this great news, Hadley has received 2 scholarships to cover the entire cost of the program!! - One scholarship from The Ohio Association of Gifted Students and a scholarship from the Ohio State University School of Environment and Resources: Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Lab.

Located on Gibraltar Island, just off of South Bass Island, the lab is a base for professional scientists from all over the Midwest as they work to solve the most pressing issues facing the Great Lakes, such as invasive species and toxic algal blooms.
