There’s still time to enroll children in Mansfield City Schools’ kindergarten camp Aug. 1-5 at the Springmill Learning Center, 1200 Nestor Dr.
The half-day program from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. is open to all incoming kindergarten students. Transportation is available.
Goal of the camp is to provide fun learning activities in small groups that will help prepare children for kindergarten. It will be staffed by district teachers.
Each day the children will explore learning stations that emphasize reading, math, writing, word work/phonics and gross motor and fine motor development. A snack will be provided.
Camp will offer students an opportunity to meet teachers and make new friends.
