This is a section
of the Sherman Elementary students and staff who filled an entire side of the
gym this week with signs supporting the Tyger football team. Mansfield
Senior High School invites the public to join students and staff at an assembly
in Pete Henry gym Monday afternoon to celebrate the success of the Tyger
football team.
The program
will begin at 1:30 p.m. Principal Marinise Harris asks that the public not
begin arriving until 1:10 p.m.
The Tygers
will meet Trotwood-Madison in the Div. III state championship game at 3 p.m.
Friday on the Tom Benson Hall of Fame field at Canton.
Boys basketball games on Friday and Saturday have been postponed and will br rescheduled.
Hundreds
turned out Wednesday evening on the downtown square in Mansfield for a rousing
sendoff for the Tygers and the Lucas Cubs. Lucas will meet Maria Stein Marion
Local for the Div. VII state title at 10 a.m. Saturday at Canton.
