The Operations Office serves the Mansfield City Schools by overseeing and directing, the Transportation of our students, the Maintenance of all of the district’s facilities and the Food services provided for the students and staff of the Mansfield City Schools.
Our Transportation Supervisor, Deb Rickert insures the safe transportation of our students by supervising the maintenance of our busses, creating efficient bus routes, and managing a staff of 45 bus drivers, 2 mechanics, and an office staff of 3. See the Transportation Department’s Web site for more information.
The Food Service Manager, Lauren Moran oversees a staff of 49. They provide nutritious breakfasts and lunches each day. See the Food Service Web site for more information regarding their program.
The Maintenance Department staff includes building custodians and district maintenance workers. The maintenance and custodial staff are responsible for the daily maintenance of 13 buildings and the grounds throughout the district. Some of the smaller construction projects needed through the re-districting of our schools have been completed by the maintenance. They also moved the contents of the two elementary buildings, one middle school and the Central Office and Special Education departments to their new locations.
The responsibility of the Operations office, the Transportation, Food Service, and Maintenance departments is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the students and staff of the Mansfield City Schools. Through their efficient performance our employees help to support the vision and mission of the Mansfield City Schools.
